Mandy

We just got this goat on Thursday. She is also pregnant, and she will have her babies at the end of April or in May sometime. I thought of the names Mindy and Mandy, and I asked my sister either Mindy or Mandy and she said Mandy, so that is her name! The pictures below of Mandy were taken at the family's barn where we got her. (they were taken a day before we got her) Now all of our goats names end in the "eee" sound, Mandy, Sadie, Daisy, and Dolly!

Chili

Me, my sister, and my oldest brother made chili tonight for dinner. Anyone who wants the recipe let me know!

Heat again!

Our electric is back on! I called our electric company when we got home yesterday, and the estimated time for it to be back on was 11:30pm that night. Then a little bit later after I called my sister called them again and it said the estimated time was 11:30pm the next day! But I guess they were able to get it on around midnight lastnight.

Electric

Well, yesterday and today our elecricity has been out! It is supposed to come back on at
11:30pm tonight. Right now we are at my grandma and step-grandpa's house in Bemus Point because there isn't really much to do at our house and heat doesn't get to the rest of the house with just a fire going in the fireplace in the living room. I know that the Snells were out yesterday, has anyone else been out?

Our goats

We currently have three female goats! The two goats in the second picture are Dolly (the black one) and Daisy (the brown one). They are sisters. We got them I think in October and they are probably not quite a year old yet. My dad wants to breed them when they are a year old, but since we don't know the exact age that they are my dad will have to find out before breeding them. We treat these two like pets. They are so cute though!!! The goat in the first picture is Sadie. She is pregnant and will probably have her baby/babies in a month or two. Yipee!!! It will be so cute to have baby goats running around in the barn. I'll have to post about her babies when she has them. (oh and hopefully pictures!!!)
